"Common Sense Leadership and Family Values for Tyler’s Future"
Max Stewart is a proud East Texan, dedicated husband and father, small business owner, and community advocate who is running to represent District 1 on the Tyler City Council.
Max and his wife, Reann, chose to make Tyler their forever home — not just for its beauty and opportunity, but because they believed it was the best place to raise their family with strong values, faith, and community spirit. They now live in South Tyler with their son, Pierce, and are eagerly expecting their second child, MacIntyre, this spring. Together, they are active members of Green Acres Church and committed participants in the life of this city.
As a business owner, Max understands the importance of responsible leadership, balancing budgets, and delivering real results. He is the founder of Guardian Insurance and Investments and Guardian Wealth Management, where he works daily with East Texans to help them protect what matters most. His work has given him a front-row seat to the challenges families and small business owners face — and it’s exactly why he’s running.
Max is not a politician. He’s a father, husband, and neighbor who is deeply invested in the future of Tyler. His campaign is grounded in common sense, family values, and accountability. He’s committed to protecting children, addressing real issues like infrastructure and public safety, standing up for taxpayers, and restoring transparency and trust in local government.
If elected, Max will bring fresh energy, bold leadership, and an unwavering commitment to Tyler’s families. His message is simple: listen to the people, respect their values, and always do what’s right — not what’s politically convenient.
“This is our home, and I want it to be a place my kids — and yours — will be proud of for generations to come.” – Max Stewart
